
Biography
IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
he was born in Varna, Bulgaria.
His childhood was spent in his hometown of Varna, where he lived until his 18th birthday. The name of the city means “colour”, “cast”, “beginning” in Sanskrit.
When he was 8 years old, he went with his father and mother on a sea journey that was almost impossible at the time for most citizens in Bulgaria. During the journey, he was baptised in an aquatic ritual from “Neptune” with the Sea name "Dolphin".
At the age of 16 he was initiated into the energy healing method "Johrei" and practiced it. This was a good complementary to his Aikido training (2 kyu). He has been a vegetarian since.
His martial arts training also included disciplines like Boxing, Wing Tsun, Wrestling, acrobatic etc.
He inherited a very active attitude from his father (as well as his brilliant mind) and used to play sport a lot: swimming, football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, riding a bicycle, hiking, chess (as an intellectual activity) etc.
During 1996 he was one of the first witnesses of the beginning of the rebirth of the Bulgarian nation. He listened to the lectures of the Academic Hristo Madjarov. Later he also used to attend the lectures of his wife Galq Madjarova and got inspired by the eternal Love and Wisdom that he encountered.
After meeting the yogi, healer and clairvoyance Doctor Tenio Chaushev, he received the name Ogi, which later became Ogi Karam as an artistic expression of his work. (*"Cara" in Irish means "friend" and “Karam” in Arabic means “generous”).
In school he learned Russian and in high school he gained proficiency in German and English.
The family situation pushed him to go abroad to Germany, where he spent almost 8 years in Munich. There he studied Spanish Philology and Media Informatics in Ludwig Maximilian University.
In 2003 he was invited to Madjar Var (madjar fort), where he translated for the lector Akademic Madjarov, who spoke about the connections between the Hungarian and Bulgarian people. Here he met an ancestor of Arpad.
To be able to finance his studies he went through many student jobs such as a waiter, stevedore, cleaner, actor and even a DJ.
After an internship at the Discovery Channel, he worked for various companies like Fujistsu, Siemens, EPCOS, Siemens, Lufthansa, Ludwig Maximilian University-Munich etc.
After the joining of Bulgaria into the European Union, he was the first student working as freelancer in his company.
During his stay in Munich, he volunteered and later worked as a member of the board within the Bulgarian -Bavarian Student Union "Shipka". In a meeting with local citizens in an office of a Bavarian government delegate, he gave a talk and presented his country Bulgaria with photographs.
He was member of the photographic club in Olympiadorf, Munich and a member of the Mediainformatics club at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich.

On one of his birthdays, the author of the “Tibetan book of living and dying” Sogyal Rinpoche held a lecture in a hall that was in front of the balcony of his student room. Helping the organizers to clear the room at the end of the lecture, he listened to the lecturer for about 2 hours and received an autograph and initiation from him.
At 2010 he returned to his hometown Varna, inspired to be a part of an innovative change in his country.
Once in Bulgaria he started to work in a Creative Centre of Education. He held training for kids with alternative methods of education like playing communication games or task, which involve logic and creativity simultaneously.
He spent 7 years living with his beloved grandfather Georgi, who taught him a lots of important lessons about human relationships, public life and leading methods.
He rediscovered his interest in the Unknown and studied deeply the common religions, as well as the New Age movement.
In order to present his projects, he created a design studio Omm.Design.
He envisioned and realized lots of innovative products, services and processes:
On 20.02.2011 he held a lecture at the National Conference of the Union of Mathematicians entitled “Generative Art - the Art in the Process”.
In 2012 while many people awaited the end of the world (according to the Mayan calendar 12.12.2012), he presented his exhibition “Human and Water”. With this he reminded people how important the element water is for us humans. The properties of water, the meaning of water in many cultures, and how scientists have discovered that water has feelings and memory were discussed. He dedicated the exhibition to his mother who passed away.
Thanks to the publishing house “Alfyola” he translated, created and published the book “I come from the Sun” by Fabio Cabbobianco. He distributed the book personally and over the electronic store that he created.
He also published a photographic book about the Beauty and Mysteries of Rila mountain in Bulgaria.
Also the same year he held an exhibition in the city gallery “Elena Karamihaylova” in Shumen, Bulgaria. The exhibition was called "Bulgaria = Bavaria" and presented photographs from Munich, the capital of Bavaria, and had an explanation from academic researchers about the connection between Bulgaria and Bavaria.
In 2013 at the Forum “Ключ” (key) in Varna, his idea won "Best environmental improvement in my city”. He received 1500 lv.
The year after, he donated the sum for the creation of the first social enterprise in Varna - The Social Tea House. It supports children without parents and gives them the opportunity to develop qualities that will help them in their future social life.
In June 2013 he won an award for his collage “Living Technic” and “Collages and collage techniques” from Varna Free University.
He was a supporter, active member and teacher at NewbBiz Club, Varna - a community of local and national businessmen.
On 14.12.2013 he presented a software project for public transport in the master class "Software Engineering and Management: Public Transport Varna with his team.
On 17.01.2014 he participated in the photographic exhibition “Light of Varna”.
One of his photographs was chosen from National Geographic as "Photo of the day”.
He was there for the creation of the Varna Cooperative Market, and created a logo for it. Later the idea took form as a regular market on the weekends. He also made a reportage about it.
He was one of the supporters and the author of an alternative online media Online Media Open Om.
A supporter of Time Heros. - a platform for volunteering your time for a good cause.
In 2014 he organised a month of Japanese Culture with an art exhibition, Japanese language course and open air demonstration of Iado.
Since 2014 he is also an official mediator with the number 20140107003 from the Ministry of Justice, Bulgaria.
This skill came in use when he began to work as a customer support agent. He had the opportunity to work for projects at companies like: Mobilcom Debitel, Amazon, Airbus, Airbnb, booking.com, Microsoft etc.
In 2014 he amazed his fellow citizen with his open air exhibition of Balanced Stones. According to the city government, he didn’t have permission to build. The policeman who told him to remove it was so amazed by the beauty that he told him not to destroy it until he came with his girlfriend. A local newspaper published an interview with the artist and defended his art. Video about the Balanced Stones
2014/2015 he participated in the newcomers day in Varna Free University guiding new students through the requirements for studying Informatics.
At the end of 2014, he proved to his father and his grandfather that he could even go to space by winning a Dremel competition at the national level and acquiring a small battery with a scraper of a spacecraft after participating in an international competition with a great prize- a journey into space. While watching a movie, he realized that, being on the planet Earth, he is already on a spacecraft and therefore he is already in space.
He taught children Aikido at kindergarten and held the first course for digital photography for children in kindergarten in Varna, Bulgaria.
On 2015 he won second prize for the architecture contest “Vision of Varna”.
During the green innovation weekend on 05-06.2016, he presented the idea of creating modern dwellings inspired by his ancestors.

In 2016 he participated in the social entrepreneur contest for the NGO Tuk - Tam with the idea of creating health camps for children.

In 2017 in Sofia he won a social entrepreneur contest from the “United Ideas for Bulgaria” with his team integrating deaf people into the society.
On 23.09.2017 he organised an eye contact event in the center of Sofia as part of a worldwide event for establishing the connection between humans.
In 2017 he finanacially supported the funding campaign for the animated series “The Golden Apple” and supported the campaign later also by volunteering at the festival “Sofia breathes” (София диша).
In the end of 2017 he created the YouTube channel Vision of Shiva With the first transmission, he explains the meaning of the planet influence coming from Saturn and the importance for Bulgarians.
In 2017/8 he organised in Varna several plays of the communication game “DarPlay”.
At the end of 2018, he became citizen of Asgard Space Nation, whose purpose is the peaceful use of space, the protection of the Earth from space attacks, and the provision of a demilitarized and free base of knowledge in space.
In 2019 he lived as Freelancer and Digital Nomad working remotely. At the end of 2019, he obtained E-Residence from the Estonian Digital Nation program.
He won an internal contest as Software Bug Detective in PaySafe Group.
The same year he became also AirBnB Superhost and also Freelance AirBnB Experience Ambassador globally.
He founded a group called "P.A.N.D.A.” (Protective Assistance Nonviolent Defensive Assosiation) to teach the residents of Barcelona to be aware, defend and protect themselves from thieves and robbers.
He reached 1000 Instagram posts in the middle of 2020. Each of them represent a short memory, story, inspiration, lesson from his life.
On 20.02.2020 he organized an IT Meetup on "Introduction of Blockchain and Aeternity" in WeWork in Barcelona. He was able to calculate the maximal lateness of the attending persons, announced the event for 19:30 and the event started at 20:00 as planed.
After the event, he was accepted as Ambassador of Aeternity, scalable smart contract based on Ethereum (Blockchain).
During the lockdown in Barcelona, he started his YouTube channel on the 8th of April 2020.
On his birthday (24.10), he released his first electronic book, "Karam.Yoga - Transition into a New Age". The book was exclusively available on Amazon as an ebook, later also as a print version. It was also translated into Spanish.
At the beginning of 2021 he started to teach Bulgarian online. This lead him to publish a bilingual book with Bulgarian tales in English/Bulgarian and Spanish/Bulgarian.

He started a series of books named "TANTRIS", where he is showing the path of the sensational exploration and beyond in an untraditional way.
First book was called "Tantris - the taste of love".
Combining the words "Meditation", "Work", "Vacation", he created a new word "MediWorkAtion" and defined it in the first part of a trilogy, which is called "MediWorkAtion - Love is Work made visible".
As a volunteer trainer for Soft Skills and Employability, he joined the MigraCode in Barcelona.
He published a Mandala coloring book for relaxation, meditation and art therapy.
During his work from home as Product Quality Specialist in Amazon, Barcelona, he saw the need of speaking openly about topics in area of Mental Health and WellBeing and created a local chapter in this regard.
He also created a communicational framework called IKMA (Interactive Knowledge Messaging Approach). He applied it to integrate Slack for the daily inside the company. The impact: 80% improvement of the internal communication. For his work on it he was awarded for the Leadership Principle “Learn and be curious”.
At the end of the summer of 2021, he published his book "Corporate and Community Shaman in the Age of Aquarius" inspired by solutions he sees for future organizations and their leaders.
End of November he opened a Mini Exhibition "The beauty of the moment" in a newly created pizza store with mobile photographies. He offered the customers to buy him a pizza if they want to support his art work.
On 12.12.21 he gave interview for GrowNLearn on the topic "Digital Detox in Bulgaria" emphasising the importance of digital detox nowadays and the role of Bulgaria as healing spot of Europe (world). At the same time a summer retreat for digital detox project was initiated.
On the 21.12.21 he organised with the kind support of Mrs.Toolip Gallery a video screening of the movie "The Matrix" (1999) with discussion on the topic of "The (miss)understood digital revolution".
He envisioned a renewal of his idea to bring Yurts in modern life with his project "Yurtaria".
At the beginning of 2022 he published the book "Buddha on Camino" - collection of essays written during his journey across the Mediterranean Sea. He points East.
Over the years he transitioned from Martial Arts to Flow Arts, where he is focusing to be in the flow, to be one with the flow, to be the flow.
He announced officially the flow art he created - Karam Flow at the beginning of 2022.
During the month of June and July he accomplished the route "Cami de Ronda" in 8 nights (4 weekends) staying over the night only with a sleeping bag. This experience has shaped the "KaramCaminDO", which a unique experience which helps people to reconnect to nature, to themselves, to the Universe. It will align you with natural rhythm and the Life.
At end of 2022 as Digital Service Consultant at HP Creating he was running an internal project called "MICS" - Multiple Information Collaborative Solution. Accomplishments:
* Improving the onboarding time for new Hires with 71%
* Creating an onboarding guide
* Developing a knowledge base for the project
On 01 December 2022 the online media Sifted (focused on European startups) included him in an article about "Alternative Business Coaching".
In 2023 he published the book "Karam Flow - The Cosmic Flow".

karamihaylov Family
Georgi Karamihaylov - Ogi Karam is, on his father's side, a part of the Karamihaylov Family.
Once upon a time the family "Karamihaylov" were one of the preeminent Bulgarian families who did a lot for reestablishing the Bulgarian nation after Bulgaria took its freedom. Ogi Karam continues this legacy.
Here is a list of some of the most memorable family members:
Elena Karamihaylova - the first Impressionist woman artist in Bulgaria, she studied painting in Munich and the city gallery in Shumen bears her name. She drew pictures without signing them by explaining that whoever knows her will understand. In 1946 she was awarded the Order for Civil Merit.

Elisaveta Karamihaylova - First woman in Bulgarian Academy of Science. She was a prominent atomic physicist on the world level, who worked with Marie Curie and other world-famous scientists. She was the first woman habilitated lecturer at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and was one of the founders of the department of Atomic Physics. A founder of the radioactivity lab at the physical institute of BAS and was the first woman professor of physics in Bulgaria. She also did research on cosmic rays and about the radioactivity of mineral springs. She died of cancer in 1968 from the radiation she studied. She donated her body to research for science.

Doctor Vassil Karamihaylov - a prominent lawyer on International Maritime Law, defends Bulgarian interests in international disputes, lecturer at the University of Economics Varna.
Doctor Ivan Karamihaylov - is a prominent physician (surgeon), also recognized by the royal family as the doctor of King Ferdinand and King Boris III. During the wars, he worked almost exclusively on a voluntary basis. Because, as he later explained before he was awarded the title "People's Doctor" in 1956, he can not take money when Bulgarian soldiers die.
